Great range of pretty fabrics

I have always chosen my own fabrics in a shop but thought I would try online this time. I selected all my fabrics and then the charm pack caught my eye. I wasn't sure about getting a mix of fabrics I had not selected myself but I am pleased to say that I am not disappointed by the colours or print. I will order them again.

Good value for money. In taking pot luck with the contents it's likely that there'll be some fabrics you won't want to use for any given project - but they'll come in handy another time.

Our most common question is 'What is a fat quarter?' The diagram below shows how all the various cuts of fabric are measured, but in short:

  • A fat quarter is where half a metre is cut off the fabric bolt, then cut in half again parallel to the selvedge - finished size is approximately 20" x 22" (50cm x 55cm)
  • A long quarter is simply quarter of a metre cut straight off the bolt - finished size is approximately 10" x 44" (25cm x 110cm)
