The Prym corner and edge shaper is great for turning points in collars, pockets, flaps etc - trim seams and turn to right side, then use the pointed end to gently push out corners. It is also useful for removing basting threads, by putting the pointed end under the basting stitches and pulling away from the fabric.
The curved edge can be used to crease seams open, creating a sharp crease line on the fabric which can be used instead of a marked line. Also ideal when sewing using the 'sew and flip' method, e.g. when foundation piecing log cabins etc.
