Lazy Girl Designs Chelsea Tote bag pattern

 Chelsea is a wonderful combination of a tote bag and a backpack. You can wear the Chelsea tote over your shoulder with one strap, or unzip the strap and wear as a backpack. Cinch the bag closed by pulling the shoulder strap through the loop and you're ready to go! The Chelsea tote is loaded with pockets, and you can tuck in the side edges to transform its elegant style into a more funky look.

Supplies needed are:

• Bag cover fabric - 2/3 yard or 1 yard directional prints
• Lining and outside pocket flap fabric - 2/3 yard or 1 yard directional prints
• Inside pocket, outside pocket, loop closure fabric - 1/2 yard
• Shoulder strap fabric - 1/3 yard 
• 1 piece 21" x 36" low loft wadding
• 22" all purpose zip recommended, 18" or 20" zip can be used as alternative
• Optional - Bag-E-Bottoms size E for sturdier base

The finished size of the bag is approximately 14" tall with an 8" square base.
