Lazy Girl Designs Maggie bag pattern

The Maggie bag by Lazy Girl Designs is a great little bag for little things - used for cameras, mobile phones or a purse on a night out, it makes a great, fashionable little bag that you can take anywhere. Made from 10" squares, it is ideal for layer cake cuts or our stash pack fabrics.

Supplies needed are:

Large Maggie (makes 1):

• Cover fabric - 10" square
• Lining fabric - 10" square
• 10" square thin quilt wadding
• 10" square plastic or paper to make template
• 3/4" piece velcro, sew in or fusible
• Optional - button 3/4" to 1"
• Optional - ribbon, any width, 4" to 12"
• Optional - purse hardware (clips, rings)

Small Maggie (makes 2):

• Cover fabric - 10" square
• Lining fabric - 10" square
• 10" square interfacing, light to medium weight
• 8" square plastic or paper to make template
• 2x 1/2" pieces velcro, sew in or fusible
• Optional - 2 buttons 3/4" to 1"
• Optional - ribbon, any width, 4" to 12"
• Optional - purse hardware (clips, rings) 

The finished size of the large Maggie bag is approximately 4 1/2" x 5", the small Maggie bag is approximately 3 1/4" x 4".
