The Veronica Pocketbook (handbag to you and me!) is sophisticated enough for a night on the town and still charming enough for a stroll in the park. The Veronica handbag is fully lined with two inside pockets and has a flap secured by hook and loop tape (Velcro).
Note: The cover of this project is not appropriate for directional prints because the fabric wraps around the bag from the front, across the bottom and up the other side.
Supplies needed are:
- 4 coordinating fat quarters, one each for the cover, lining, inside pockets and side panels/flapclosure/handle tabs
- Fashion handles (Clover U-shaped bag handles used in the picture example)
- One piece 12" x 21" and one piece 3" x 5" low loft wadding
- 1 piece sew on hook and loop tape (Velcro)
- 1" piece 21" x 36" low loft wadding
- 1 button for flap decoration
- Optional - Bag-E-Bottoms size B for sturdier base
The finished size of the bag is approximately 9" wide by 7" height.
