Quilt Wadding (Quilt Batting)

Our range of quilt wadding (quilt batting) comes from Hobbs, renowned for the quality of their products. Hobbs Heirloom Premium Cotton Blend is 80% cotton and 20% polyester, lightly needle punched and lightly resin bonded. It is an excellent wadding for hand or machine quilting, and comes in natural or black colours so can be used with light or dark fabrics.

The other type of wadding available, Quilters Dream Poly Select, is 100% polyester but you would never know it! Made from a blend of fine denier microfibers, this batting imitates the warmth, softness, drape and breathability of natural fibres, with the added benefits of very low shrinkage and the ability to be quilted up to 12" apart.
