The Big Easy Tote bag by Scrap Bags designs is a fabulous, easy to sew large tote bag ideal for any occasion! Multiple pockets are included making the bag perfect for shopping or quilt group. Great for using pre-cut fabric bundles, there are directions for 5" charms (30 needed), 2.5" x 6" strips (54 needed), 6" triangles (32 needed), 1.5" x 10" strips (72 needed) and hexagons, the number of which depends on the size of the hexagons. A full size bird sihouette for fusible applique is also included, as well as other designs which must be enlarged.
Supplies needed are:
- 1 2/3 yard print fabric (non directional)
- 5/8 yard solid fabric
- Quilt wadding piece 21" x 32"
- Optional - 7" square fusible interfacing for applique
- Optional - small decorative pieces (e.g. charm squares) as listed above for decorative pieced versions
The finished size of the bag is approximately 12" tall x 12" wide base, 18" wide top x 8" deep.
