Moda Best of Morris 10 fat quarter pack 2

The Best of Morris 2021 collection by Barbara Brackman returns to William Morris's garden for inspiration. Seven graceful prints feature florals and leafy branches, plus his affectionate look at the birds and rabbits who shared the garden. Patterns include long-time favorites from the master at translating nature to cloth, coloured with subtle shades that echo the natural dyes so important to Morris's Arts & Crafts vision.

This fat quarter pack contains 10 prints from the collection in warm red and brown shades, 2.5m of fabric altogether. The prints in the picture are the actual fabrics included. All fabric is 100% cotton, each fat quarter measures approximately 20 inches x 22 inches.

Our most common question is 'What is a fat quarter?' The diagram below shows how all the various cuts of fabric are measured, but in short:

• A fat quarter is where half a metre is cut off the fabric bolt, then cut in half again parallel to the selvedge - finished size is approximately 20" x 21-22" (50cm x 55cm) including the selvedge
• A long quarter is simply quarter of a metre cut straight off the bolt - finished size is approximately 10" x 42-44" (25cm x 110cm) including the selvedge.
