Moda Best of Morris stash pack 2

Stash pack (approx 10" by 10" squares) of 10 cool blue and sage prints from the Best of Morris patchwork fabric collection by Barbara Brackman for Moda fabrics. Best of Morris 2021 returns to William Morris's garden for inspiration. Seven graceful prints feature florals and leafy branches, plus his affectionate look at the birds and rabbits who shared the garden. Patterns include long-time favorites from the master at translating nature to cloth, coloured with subtle shades that echo the natural dyes so important to Morris's Arts & Crafts vision.

The prints in the picture are the actual fabrics included.

The squares are cut to slightly larger than 10 inches on all sides so take care to trim and square them if you need exactly 10 inch squares.

Our most common question is 'What is a fat quarter?' The diagram below shows how all the various cuts of fabric are measured, but in short:

• A fat quarter is where half a metre is cut off the fabric bolt, then cut in half again parallel to the selvedge - finished size is approximately 20" x 21-22" (50cm x 55cm) including the selvedge
• A long quarter is simply quarter of a metre cut straight off the bolt - finished size is approximately 10" x 42-44" (25cm x 110cm) including the selvedge.

 

We sell fabric in quarter metre units, orders of more than one unit are sent uncut as a single piece. Please see the chart below to see how many units to order for common length requirements:
