Pretty little florals and tiny prints in neutral creams and whites make up the Essentials quilt fabric range by Makower, great for backgrounds and borders or anywhere in a quilt that requires a delicate touch! This patchwork fabric has a pattern of tiny leaves in white scattered on a crisp white background, reference number 764/W1.

This fabric is 100% cotton and is approximately 42 inches (112cm) wide off the bolt.

Our most common question is 'What is a fat quarter?' The diagram below shows how all the various cuts of fabric are measured, but in short:

A fat quarter is where half a metre is cut off the fabric bolt, then cut in half again parallel to the selvedge - finished size is approximately 20" x 21-22" (50cm x 55cm) including the selvedge
A long quarter is simply quarter of a metre cut straight off the bolt - finished size is approximately 10" x 42-44" (25cm x 110cm) including the selvedge.

Although this said it was white on white it has a cream hue. I was looking to match it with material I already have so was disappointed that it did not. Will use it for another project.
