Making a contract with usWhen you place an order with us, you are making an offer to buy goods. We will send you an e-mail to confirm that we have received your order.
In the unlikely event that the goods are no longer available, or that we have made a pricing mistake, we will advise you of this and there will be no contract between us.
If the goods are not available, we may supply you with substitute goods. If you decide not to accept the substitute goods, you will not have to pay to return them.
How to place an orderTo order an item simply click on the 'Add to basket' button on the product page. You can update quantities or remove the item in your shopping basket. When you have all the items you need choose a delivery option then press 'checkout' to proceed to the checkout. You can view your shopping basket at any time by pressing the 'view basket' button showing at the top of every page. Please see our delivery & payment page page for details on how to pay for your order.
If you have any problems during the payment stage, please contact us – we will have your order on file so you don’t need to go through the ordering stage again.
After the order is placed you will receive a confirmation email with your order details - please note that you must return to the website after payment to receive your confirmation email.
Every effort is made to represent the colours of the fabrics we sell accurately, however due to differences in monitor settings we cannot guarantee accuracy.
A free charm pack of 16 5" patchwork squares will be included with every order worth over £25 excluding postage. This offer is limited to one charm pack per order, irrespective of the size of the order.
Free fabric samples are sent out for a nominal fee of 50p to cover postage in the UK, overseas sample orders will have a postage charge at the lowest postage band for the region. Sample orders are limited to 10 fabrics per order, and only 1 sample of each fabric - if more than 10 samples are ordered only the first 10 on the order will be dispatched. Fabric sizingYou can choose long quarters (25cm x approx 110cm) or fat quarters (50cm by approx 55cm) on the fabric product pages. Orders of more than one will always be sent as a single piece, i.e. if you order 4 quarters of a single fabric it will arrive as an uncut metre piece. If there is only 1 quarter metre of a fabric left in stock we will send this on, this may mean that a fat quarter is sent instead of a long quarter or vice versa. We will contact you before sending to check if this is acceptable.
DeliveryPlease see our delivery & payment page for delivery cost and time details. No UK VAT (tax) is paid on deliveries outside the UK however they may be subject to customs charges and/or local taxes. You the customer agree to pay any such charges - we do not accept any responsibility for any charges incurred. If in any doubt you should check yourself the customs rules that apply to your country before you place your order.
Cancellation and returnsYou can cancel your contract at any time up to 14 working days after the day of delivery. To do this, please e-mail us or telephone us. You do not have to give any reason for cancellation. However, a brief explanation will help us to improve the service we offer to customers in the future.
If you cancel, you must return the goods to us at your own expense. You must ensure that the goods are packaged adequately to protect against damage. If you fail to return the goods, we will collect them, and we will charge you the direct cost of collection. If you fail to take reasonable care of the goods before they are returned to us, and this results in damage or deterioration, we will charge you for the reduction in value.
This cancellation policy does not affect your legal rights — For example, if goods are faulty or misdescribed.
Faulty goodsWe endeavour to ensure that all orders are received in perfect condition, however we will give a full refund including postage if an order is less than satisfactory. Please contact us if you have any complaints about an order. We will accept returns of faulty goods up to 80 days after the contract is made.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998).
We will give you the chance to refuse any marketing email from us in the future.
